Returns Policy

Thank you for visiting our website and shopping with The Seaweed People. The Following information outlines our returns policy.

Can I return my order

If you are unhappy with your order you may return unused, unopened items in their original packaging within 14 days. Proof of purchase will be required.

In order to receive a store credit/refund, please reach out to us via our email - hello@theseaweedpeople.co.uk - within 14 days of purchase.

If you could please email us before you intend to post the item so our team can be ready to make the refund/exchange process as smooth as possible.

Please note that we wont be able to accept returns of skincare or food related items due to safety reasons.

To be eligible for a refund, the item needs to be unused and in the same condition as when you received it.

In most cased you will be required to pay for the return postage of your item(s).

My order had arrived damaged! What can I do?

If your order has arrived damaged, Please notify us at hello@theseaweedpeople.co.uk within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will contact the shipping provider on your behalf and an inquiry will be made.

If you would like a replacement product, a valid photograph of the damage will be required in order to process a replacement item.

Please retain your postal receipt when sending orders back to us, as we may use this for issuing a refund once we have received the returned item. In most cases return postage for replacement items will be refunded. Please contact hello@theseaweedpeople.co.uk for more information on case by case return postage refunds.

Incorrect Shipping Addresses

We make every attempt to validate the shipping address provided at checkout to ensure it’s recognized as a valid address. If we cannot validate the address, we will try to contact the customer to provide an updated address.

The Seaweed People will not be held responsible if the customer provides the wrong shipping address and we cannot recover the package.

Guidelines on how to begin the return process for online orders.

So, now you've read the information on our returns policy and believe your product qualifies for a return. The following information covers how you can begin the return process:

1. Please package up the item safely by using insulated material to protect it during transit back to our studio. It would be helpful to write your name on the back of the return letter/parcel so we can process your return quickly and efficiently.

2. Please include our business name The Seaweed People on the front of the parcel/letter, and return your unwanted item(s) to the following address:

Note:
If an order is returned to us because you refused delivery, we will charge the appropriate return costs and they will be deducted from your refund.

You will need to pay the standard carrier fees for returning orders back to us. In some cases, we may refund return postage costs. Please email us at hello@theseaweedpeople.co.uk to see if your return qualifies for a postage refund.

We offer drop-off returns to our studio in Bridport.

If you would like to return the item directly to our studio premise, please get in touch with us at hello@theseaweedpeople.co.uk and we can arrange for the best time to visit.

Refund Timing

We’ll initiate your refund when we receive your item(s) at our studio in Bridport. Generally, refunds take 5-7 days but may take up to 2 weeks.

We will issue the refund to the payment card originally used at checkout.
